A Real Indian Day By: Seth Palmer

November 20, 2023 - 2023 Operation Moksha, All Posts

Today was dank. Our village group’s drive is the longest of all the groups, we had about 20 min down the canyon then up into the mountains. The long drive is actually pretty nice because we get to see a lot more of the village. We’ve seen some monkeys, skinned chickens, goat heads, and a boat load of dogs and cows.

Our school has somewhere around 25 people from ages 8-3. They are split into 4 groups of about 6 people. Each group gets their own room. It is so nice having a small school. We get to know each of the kids better and we don’t have to teach our lessons as many times. My favorite group of kids so far is the second to youngest, even tho trying to teach them is absolutely useless most the time.

After we left the schools, we drove back to our hotel place then got into different cars and drove to the market. We then split up into groups and went and bought our pantsuits/pajamas. All the guys got matching ones with shiny gold on them. After we picked out or things and bought them everyone got into our cars and drove back. Everyone except for Me, Noah, Raj, and Allison. Our driver got lost or something. We sat there waiting for him to show up for like 15 mins. Finally he actually showed up and we drove back to the hotel, ate dinner, packed our bags for tomorrow, then had a meeting, and now I’m blogging so I don’t know what is next tonight. Probably will just go straight to sleep cuz I’m zonked out of my mind right now.

Hugs & Kisses,

Seth
