Finding Something More By Krystal Morley

March 30, 2019 - 2019 Operation: Sapna

One truth I will always remember, it does not matter how much you have, it only matters how much you give. India is a very humble country. The people here will drop whatever they are doing to show you around their little village, make you tea, or even save a part of there meal and give you a half eaten cracker. My school is in Juguni, and one of the older girls, Samiksha gives me something new everyday. Today I was given a cute little rusty ring that only fits my pinky, a reminder that when I feel at times I can’t give anymore, Samiksha did. I have never felt more love and happiness than from these kids, my kids. I love every second that I get sneezed on, or when I find another spider bite or blister on my foot, I love when I see dirt under my nails or find another knot in my hair, because it all comes from a hot few hours focusing beyond myself and giving to Juguni.
