On January 7th Team Ajeya had our first meeting since their winter retreat. The lesson we had that day was on Integrity. Integrity by definition is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles and moral uprightness. we learned one of the biggest things with integrity, is keeping and honoring our words. doing what we say we will do, and doing it on or in a timely manner, it includes even the things people don’t see, homework, chores and other things. And when we cannot keep our word we can honor it by being responsible for our actions, addressing the people impacted by us not keeping our word, apologizing and finding a new solution. After the lesson we took a snack break where we had people bring cookies, snacks and waters. We then returned together where 3 people that had previously been asked to watch ted talks, talk about them and share what they had learned. After that we split up into our expedition groups for 10 minutes to talk and plan things out. The meeting was ending with practicing and singing the YMAD song.
