The big “Good Bye Day” – Dave Neff

November 23, 2015 - All Posts, 2015 Opeation: Sahasa

Well today was the big “Good Bye Day”. It was very emotional and difficult. It is hard to know how to say good bye to such sweet, loving spirits that you care for so much and that care so much for you. I was shown again to day how amazing all of the teens are. We started in the village school playing games and handing out school supply kits and backpacks. Thank you to everyone that donated supplies you made some beautiful children very happy today. I asked Jessica if there was anything she wanted me to write and she said she wanted to stay. I have heard it more than once from these teens the desire to stay and do more service. Anything to continue to love and be loved here in India. Thank you to everyone who helped us get here.  There were many involved in making this possible.

I love and miss my family and pray they have a fantastic Thanksgiving. After this experience I know the list of what  I am thankful for has changed and grown immensely. I am thankful for this opportunity to be in India and to be associated with such great people.

Thank you all,

Dave.

  3. Hey Daddy! Closing night was very emotional for us all. I haven’t cried this much in so long! I am sure I left plenty for when I see you coming down that escalator on Saturday! I love you very much! “Forever and ever, do you hear me?”
