YMAD is specifically looking for college students who can help provide leadership skills, are self-generative, outgoing and capable of making a difference. College students will be fundraising, gathering supplies, and formulating educational workshops. They will then travel to India to teach these education workshops, distribute the collected items, perform service, and interact with the various orphanages and government schools in India. They may also have the opportunity to visit a few of India’s historical and cultural sites before returning home.
All participants must raise $3900 to participate in the expedition. Because YMAD is a 501c(3) organization, all funds raised are tax-deductible.
INCLUDES: Leadership training courses; flights; evacuation insurance; all transportation, lodging and meals in India.
DOES NOT INCLUDE: Passport ($110), Visa ($75), Spending Money ($200 max), and personal travel supplies.
