YMAD's spring expedition to Jibhi, India received its official name of Antar Bano (be the difference) at the first retreat of the expedition. Over the two days the participants were given leadership training and received ideas for fundraisers options to pay for the expedition. The first night, guest speaker Scott Melis taught us about our life lenses, or the way we have seen the world and the many ways that this expedition will change us. For the rest of the night we played get to know you games. On day two we had guest speaker Eli Baird who talked to us about the importance of a convincing abrupt elevator speech. After practicing ways to deliver our own speeches we got our team shirts. Everyone was able to custom design their shirt with tie dye. With that we concluded our first Antar Bano retreat and everyone left excited for all the meetings and adventures we have to come.
