Day one was three days long. Through all the flying, busing, walking, and no sleeping, all the days have blurred together. Definitely not excited for the strenuous trip back home, but we are SO happy to be finally be in India!! Everywhere you look is beautiful and interesting. The lifestyle of these Indians is something else. It’s so excited! Today, June 9, 2015, we headed out to our villages to teach for the first time. All of my nerves disappeared upon seeing those beautiful Indian children sitting so patiently and quietly in their school. When they came to greet us, each of them saluted us with a sweet “Good morning!”. They totally stole our hearts. We have had a few issues with getting all of our humanitarian bags back from the airport, but we made do with what we had. By the end of school, I had such a blast, and I can’t wait to get to know these sweet kids better!!
