An Old Friend (Or 17) -- Parker Moyle

If you had told me exactly one year ago that I would be back here in these beautiful Himalayan mountains, or that I would be reuniting with the children who had changed my life, I would have told you that’s impossible. Well today, the impossible happened.

Teaching at the school in Lalsa has been great and I am grateful for the connections I have been building there. However, my mind has constantly been on finally returning to Raisharan. We decided to spend today (Friday) doing a service project painting the Raisharan school. It was an extremely emotional day for me just to see those amazing kids who had helped me to grow so much in 2017. I gave the kids each photos of them with every teen from my team last year. We painted the school, and then pulled the kids out of the school yard so that we could set up an Easter Egg Hunt. It was so cute and they had so much fun, they all loved the candy. I am so blessed to be here and I love this group of amazing people. Saying goodbye for a second time will not be fun. I may have some exciting news in my next blog so stay tuned!

March 30th, 2018 was the best day of my life. Sending love from India,
