After a delay to San Fransisco, frantic running in the airport, we missed our flight to Singapore. We all gathered in an airport corner and got ready to sleep, when Delta provided us with a hotel room for 3 hours until we were able to catch a direct flight to New Delhi by some miracle.
Once we arrived in New Delhi we were ahead of schedule by 4 hours and we had all of our luggage with us. I would say that this worked out for the best. Driving in India is a whole new experience. In case you were wondering, it is possible to be parked on the side of the freeway and have Dominos pizza deliver to your bus!!
Even without teaching in the schools yet, these few days have been an eye opening experience. People are so friendly and I can’t stop from smiling and laughing with these amazing people I am with. My favorite part has been when we were driving in the cars and waving to the kids while they walk to school. Their faces light up with the biggest smile!
I have been dreaming about these few weeks for months now. The change I have felt in myself has been more then I expected to have in me at all and I have has this in just a few days.
I love you family! MTWCT!
