Squading in India: Hank Thompson
Squading in India
Well, it’s for sure going. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and let me tell you, I’m thankful for a lot of things to say the least.
Things are still going well. I’ve gotten into a good routine and I’m feeling adjusted to most of the big changes. Today at school was good too. The kids are super cute but freaking insane during the lessons. Despite that, they are the sweetest and give really good hugs. It’s really cool to be so loved and appreciated by kids that I’ve known for five days. I love those kids.
The YMAD girls are just as great. One today made me pinky promise to ride a horse with her in Khajjiar on Sunday.
Tomorrow is the cultural exchange. I’m pretty excited. Our songs sound really good and the dances are fun. It’s a little scary knowing how many people will be watching it.
I’m excited to get some down time and catch up on some much-needed relaxation.
We only have two more days in the schools. It’ll be hard to say goodbye to the kids.
Once again, it’s going well and I’m having fun. I’m trying to live it up as much as I can now that we are on the countdown.
