Ode to Raj

Your children are safe because of Raj, he takes such excellent care of us. YMAD would not function without him. Nell Stevens wrote a beautiful ode to Raj and Braden has written a limerick. Enjoy and be grateful for Raj.

Ode to Raj By Nell Stevens

Just as one cannot give an ode to a rainbow

Without an ode to rain

Just as an ode to a chicken is futile

Without an ode to its egg

One cannot give an ode to joy

Until one gives an ode to that from which it came

From Raj comes nutella and the kindest of translators

Brand new little shoes, brand new little sweaters, and brand new little shrieks of excitement

The retrieval of missing phones

And safe transportation on winding roads

From Raj comes laughter 

From Raj comes love

From Raj comes steaming hot chai from above

Hours upon hours of 

Phone calls upon phone calls

And drives upon drives 

Make “dones” upon “dones”

And magic upon magic

And oh so much 

Joy upon joy.

A bear that always seems to care

As treats seemingly fall from the sky
