Already Emotional

May 16, 2017 - 2017 Operation: Jazba

Its the morning of our last day in india, i am already freaking out cause i have to say goodbye to so many beautiful children. Yesterday Mehak was hugging me and i honestly just held her and soaked in the moment. I was in heaven, no joke yall may picture heaven as this perfectly white and clean place, not me i picture heaven just like these schools in india. Full of belly ache laughs, dirt dovered kids, and the most amazing team. The blue team is unreal being group leader is one of the greatest experiences because I get to watch each of them in their element. Becca is so sweet tothem and the little ones just stare at her because they adore her. The boys love Landen because he is a moving playground and just makes this special connection to the kids because even the shy ones yell when he says bolo. Brenna is unreal, usually you are shy the first day but not her she jumped in and was crazy and it really made a difference in getting these children out of their shells (which for some of them i wish we hadnt broken). Ellen is just so funny and the kids love seeing pictures of her family and snake cause it totally freaks them out which is great. Makayla is so funny the kids love her because she is so patient which means a lot in our group of 39 kids. It gets crazy sometimes but i wouldnt change it for anything. Thats just a quick update on me and my team, now I’ve got to go finish my leader duties for the day

Xoxo jordie

Ps sorry i havent posted like i usually do. Being a leader changes things immensly.
